Our Story

Emma & Archie was born from a love of woodwork and a passion for children and childhood development. Our beautiful children are the inspiration behind our name and essence of our business. 

As parents, we are very aware of children's developmental needs and how important learning through play is. Our heart is to take learning and playing back to basics with our range of beautifully crafted wooden toys & décor. 

Toys made out of wood are healthy, safe and encourage open-ended/creative play and teach cause and effect. Wooden toys offer opportunities for problem solving and imaginative play that you don't find with toys that can be over-stimulating with loud noises, bright lights and vivid colours.

Our toys offer the opportunity for children to explore at their own pace, in a quiet and calm manner.

All of the materials that we use come from sustainable and responsible sources, minimising our carbon footprint and teaching our children to love and protect our world.

We make our own protective wax that is used to seal all our toys. This wax is eco-friendly and non-toxic, so you can feel comfortable knowing that your little ones are safe when the toys inevitably make the journey from the playmat to their mouths.

We are continuously working on new products to add to our range, so keep an eye on our products page for new toys and décor items.
