Shipping & Returns Policy
Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 7 to 21 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. This email will contain your order's tracking number.
All items are handmade to order. Please allow for up to 21 business days from date of order for your product/s to be shipped.
Nationwide Shipping Rates and Estimates (South Africa only)
Local: From R125 Please see "Local delivery" below for details on local delivery areas
National - Main Centre: From R125 (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, George, Pietermaritzburg)
National - Outlying areas: From R150 (This includes all areas not listed above or under "Local Delivery" below)
Local delivery
Local delivery will take 24-48 hours from collection. Price from R125.
Areas that qualify for Local Delivery: Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Durbanville & Northern Suburbs, Southern Suburbs, Cape Peninsula, Cape Town, Blouberg, Melkbos.
Collection
Collections are strictly on an appointment basis only. Once you have confirmed your order, select "Collect" at checkout and we will send a confirmation email notifying when your order will be ready for collection.
We will share our collection address and make an appointment for collection via email or Whatsapp.
Do you want to send your own courier?
Select "Own shipping" on checkout if you wish to send your own courier to collect your order. We will send a confirmation email specifying package dimensions and weight, and a date when the order can be collected.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@emmaandarchie.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will either exchange your order for a new item/s or something of the same value; offer a gift card option or store credit; or refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs. Customers will be liable for all shipping fees for returns/exchanges.
To log a return please send us an email (hello@emmaandarchie.co.za) with your name and surname, order number and clear photos of the item/s to be returned. Please specify whether you would like to exchange or return your order for a refund/shop credit.
Damaged items on delivery
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@emmaandarchie.co.za with your order number and clear photos of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
